I found this Lavera Hydro Effect Serum to be O.K. I give it 2/5 thumbs up.
In case you are into Vegan products, this is one and I do not know how many hydrating vegan serums are out there, but this one is an affordable one in any case. The texture is one of a very light milky lotion. I was not impressed with the packaging of this sample and also the sample size was a bit small for my taste. Enough for one try, maybe two. It is a hydrating serum, so it contains glycerine and Sodium Hyaluronate. It contains what they call an Anti-Pollution Complex, which is basically antioxidants and algae ingredients that, according to their website, protect the skin against air pollution, free radicals and brightens the complexion. I can see the free radical protection and brightening of complexion by use of antioxidants, but I am not clear on how the air pollution protection works. It was not very hydrating, it was O.K., but in my opinion there is better out there. Comparing with Vichy’s this one is only eight Euro, while Vichy’s is around twenty five.
Would I buy it based on the sample? Not really.
