Sampling around: Clinique, Anti-blemish solutions

IMG_9285_1

I probably got this sample when I bought the “Take the day off” balm by Clinique. Sample size was good since you only need to use small amounts at a time. Packaging was not good at all for this product, you can not seal it, or close it, so it dries out and you have less product to try in the end. Product itself was good, it worked well on blemishes, but it was irritating on my skin. I could feel it burning at the moment it was applied on the skin and still for a while on after that. It was nothing terrible, but maybe someone with skin that is more sensitive won’t take it well. I would recommend that if you are interested in this product, you ask for a sample to try it out, or try it out directly at the Clinique counter to make sure it won’t irritate your skin.

Although it worked well on blemishes, I know another product that I like a bit better since also works well on the skin but it does not irritate it. The La Roche Posay blemishes spot on cream.

Would I buy it based on the sample? Nothing wrong with it, but I prefer a different product for this.
