Sampling around: L’Occitane, Crème Radieuse, hydration cream

I had a few of these samples and decided to take them on a trip I recently did to Iceland. Specially because of the “hydration cream” label. To my dismay, this was not hydration enough, specially for Iceland. It is made in France and it claims to contain ingredients from Organic Farms, Organic Angelica and essential oils. The texture was creamy but not soft creamy, rather a bit coarse creamy. Unfortunately I did not like this product, it claimed to be a hydration cream, it is its main label, but it did not hydrate my skin. It may be that the cold weather influenced its poor performance but, for being the main label of the product, I still think the weather is no excuse.

Would I buy this product based on the sample? No.
